General Information
REQUIREMENTS
-
Junior and senior University students majoring in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Experience with AutoCAD, Word, and Excel are mandatory.

Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, Submittal Software, etc. are beneficial.
WORK SCHEDULE & BENEFITS

Up to 30 hours a week during summer break.

Option to continue internship into the fall semester at reduced hours.

Flexible work schedule.

MBA's office is located in beautiful Eagle River, Alaska, well situated between Anchorage and the Matanuska Valley.

Discipline Specific Information
MECHANICAL INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Learn about and assist with the design of HVAC, plumbing, building automation, and fire protection systems for commercial, institutional and industrial projects.
-
Other responsibilities include client interaction, and construction administration duties such as submittal review and inspections.
ELECTRICAL INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Learn about and assist with the design of power, lighting, communications, and security systems for commercial, institutional and industrial projects.
